Thyroid rarity.

Noting a thyroid mass while contouring a head and neck case is pretty common. And while such a lesion turning out to represent metastatic disease is exceedingly rare (read: 32 cases in published literature), this case report is here to remind you that it’s still possible and warrants appropriate work-up. Upside if you come across case 33? A thyroid met can usually easily be incorporated into local definitive therapy. | Mehta, JAMA Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg 2020
