Making hospice work.

June 5, 2017. This article in Cancer has been generating buzz after surveying practicing hematologists about hospice practices. The major barrier to hospice use was the inability to continue care of patients and provide blood product transfusions. This echos the long frustrations with what seems to be a patient-baton hand-off to hospice care.
